Overview

We are looking for two forward-thinking Director of Media Technology and Signals resources to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our media technology stack. One role will focus on building media technology — overseeing the strategy and implementation of tech tools. The other role will work closely with publishers to capture the right signals and establish a media signal strategy to power measurement, activate campaigns, and ultimately help build a world-class media ad stack that drives business impact. You will be instrumental in driving data-driven marketing, enabling privacy-compliant media activation, and advancing our capabilities across clean room environments, measurement solutions, identity frameworks, and media automation. This role blends strategic leadership with deep technical fluency—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of adtech, martech, and Media Science.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in media technology, adtech/martech, or digital marketing
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects including marketing, product, engineering, legal, and data science.
  • Experience leading technical strategy, vendor management and complex platform integrations.
  • Experience in managing and implementing adtech tools like clean room, asset management tools and/or conversion Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the media technology stack, including Clean rooms, mobile measurement platforms (MMPs), and identity resolution platforms and Asset Management tools
  • Lead clean room assessments, implementation, and governance and implementation
  • Collaborate with media science and media team to operationalize privacy-safe audience activation tool.
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and data engineering to ensure adherence to data privacy and security regulations (General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), etc.).
  • Oversee integrations between platforms.
  • Own server-to-server (S2S) or CAPI-style integrations where applicable.
  • Drive the adoption of automated media workflows, including tagging, pixel management, consent updates, and campaign execution frameworks.
  • Translate technical complexity into business impact for stakeholders; serve as a consultant on all media technology-related initiatives.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing media tech team while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
