The Strategic Partnership Lead at Microsoft serves as a critical interface to our most valued customers in the digital age. This role is vital to Microsoft’s ambitions. Traditional sales engagement methods have evolved, and customers are seeking consultative partnerships. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 13+ years experience in working in a sales, marketing, business development industry and/or enterprise level information technology consulting
    • OR Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in working in a sales, marketing, business development industry and/or enterprise level information technology consulting
    • OR Master's Degree AND 9+ years experience in working in a sales, marketing, business development industry and/or enterprise level information technology consulting
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
  • 8+ years experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.
  • 5+ years Industry experience and experience with making recommendations at C-level, business decision makers clients/customers.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 13+ years experience in working in a sales, marketing, business development industry and/or enterprise level information technology consulting
    • OR Master's Degree AND 11+ years experience in working in a sales, marketing, business development industry and/or enterprise level information technology consulting
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience exhibiting growth mindset and seeking to solve for complex customer challenges.
  • Experience with leadership, building trust and exhibiting credibility across all levels of organizations.

Strategic Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,000 - $217,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $168,600 - $237,500 per year.

Responsibilities

  • You will drive net-new strategic partnerships, with core focus on deals greater than $100M.
  • You will plan and present a clear vision of customer success.
  • You will collaborate closely with the field Account Team Units (ATU)/Specialist Team Units (STU) and management teams to drive new business opportunities.
  • You will ensure that plan is made to evolve and continually vetted, ensuring stated objectives.
  • You will build coalition and support leadership teams throughout all organizations within Microsoft.
  • You will support the field through Digital Win Room submissions and successful navigation of the process.
  • You will increase technical and industry acumen delivering innovative ideas to accelerate customer success in the cloud.
  • You will have a laser-focus on business outcomes and driving revenue growth that propels customer satisfaction built around Digital Transformation.
  • You will have consistent, repeatable achievement of revenue and consumption targets through disciplined pipeline, forecast management.
  • You will leverage and use key business insights to elevate customer conversation and action.
  • You will provide world class customer service through alignment of customer objectives and plan to achieve.
  • You will deliver tangible solutions to customers solving for efficiencies, cost savings, and deep regard for Microsoft partnership.
  • You will engage with C-level clients as a trusted advisor and collaborating effectively with Microsoft’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
  • You will manage opportunities in the Americas, responsible for working with local account teams, resources and clients in the geography.
