The Microsoft 365 Enterprise Cloud team is looking for a motivated, collaborative, and independent Principal Product Manager who can create clarity, drive results, and deliver exceptional product experiences within the Microsoft 365 government cloud service offerings.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience with large scale services or distributed systems.
- 8+ years in a position requiring program management, consultancy, engineering, cloud or government experience.
Other Requirements:
- Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Candidates must have an active Top Secret and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly effective communication and collaboration with customers, partners, and across teams.
- Technical aptitude in service design, architecture, and software development.
- Experience working with government, defense or the intelligence community.
- Strategic mindset and proven capability to execute. .
- Experience managing projects with multiple work streams and partners; demonstrated strategic planning abilities.
- End-to-end ownership of commitments with the ability to break down ambiguous problems.
Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.

Responsibilities
Drive continuous delivery of M365 services to sovereign cloud environments in collaboration with Site Reliability Engineering and partner engineering teams.
- Drive the engineering solutions, implementation design, and definition of overall strategy required to scale service operations and ensure uptime.
- Own large, complex product areas or platforms. You will be accountable for end-to-end delivery, from initial concept through launch and iteration.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and government security and reliability standards.
- Define and clearly communicate program strategy, drive multiple cross-team projects, and collaborate broadly to achieve program goals.
- Disseminate a common project culture and mindset by informing, communicating, and training teams about techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
- Engage directly with internal and customer stakeholders at multiple levels, supporting executive briefings and innovation partnerships.
