The Global Marketing Engines & Experiences (GME&E) team is seeking a creative and strategic Content Innovation Strategist - AI, Design & Production to drive the future of AI-powered content production at Microsoft. In this hybrid role, you’ll combine hands-on creative instincts, technical fluency, and systems-level thinking to modernize how Microsoft brings content to life across platforms, products, and campaigns. You will lead the integration of AI tools, data signals, and design systems across our internal and external content pipelines — ensuring content is not only faster and smarter, but more beautiful, consistent, and performance-driven. You’ll collaborate with internal creatives, engineers, and external agencies to build modular workflows that elevate both craft and scale. Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years experience in creative production, content systems, or digital marketing, or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience making end to end social/digital content.
- Experience collaborating with external creative agencies, production partners, or platform vendors.
- Experience using AI and automation tools to enhance creative output and streamline workflows.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years experience in creative production, content systems, or digital marketing, or related work experience
- OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years experience in creative production, content systems, or digital marketing, or related work experience or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with Microsoft tools (Copilot, Designer, Power Platform, SharePoint) and leading creative tech (e.g., Runway, Synthesia, Adobe Express, Canva Enterprise).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) systems and how they connect to creative pipelines
- Experience integrating performance data (e.g., from PowerBI, social analytics, A/B testing platforms) into creative iteration models
Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of AI tools into content workflows across formats (design, video, animation, copy), enabling high-volume, high-quality content production.
- Partner with internal creatives and external agencies to scale best-in-class content that’s brand-right, beautifully crafted, and optimized for performance.
- Design and operationalize systems for real-time iteration — connecting creative inputs to performance data, audience signals, and cultural trends.
- Pilot emerging tools (e.g., Copilot, Designer, Runway, ChatGPT, Synthesia) and recommend strategic applications across the content lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data, analytics, and strategy teams to ensure content pipelines are guided by insights, audience intent, and test-and-learn models.
- Champion creative experimentation — helping evolve how Microsoft tells stories across channels, formats, and communities.
- Where needed, prototype assets and workflows to demonstrate impact and inform future-state content operations.
