As a Software Engineer in Microsoft Security AI, you will play a vital role in designing and maintaining scalable, resilient infrastructure that supports security automation and service reliability. Your work will focus on building systems that enable seamless deployment, secure execution environments, and efficient service orchestration for AI-powered security solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance computing environments, optimize workflows, and drive innovation in secure computing.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of experience as a Software Engineer with a strong foundation in system design and development.
- Experience building scalable, resilient infrastructure to support security automation and service reliability.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment, enhance automation, and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
- Understanding of secure execution environments for safe workload handling, including potential exposure to malware analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
