As a CO+I Learning IAM Technical Trainer you will contribute to establishing technical training delivery, workforce training needs analysis, and engaging with your team in procedural change management activities in support of the datacenters in your area of responsibility. You will leverage technical and adult learning fundamentals as you evaluate and report on training activities in the datacenters and develop your own skills while coaching your learners in their own career growth. Location is on-site in the datacenter with limited work from home opportunities.
Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As an IAM Technical Trainer you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years training specfic to logistics, supply chain, or operations management
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in delivering training programs, workforce development, or project management.
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technologies, System Engineering, Information Systems AND 4+ years training specfic to logistics, supply chain, or operations management
- OR equivalent experience.
- CompTIA Certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Trainer+ [CTT+], Security+, Server+, Network+, Cloud+), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Enterprise Product Integration (EPI) certifications (e.g., Certified Datacenter Professional [CDCP], Certified Datacenter Facilities Operations Management [CDFOM]), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent.
- Azure Certifications (e.g., Advanced Role Based, Fundamentals), Microsoft 365 Certifications, or equivalent.
- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) Certification.
Technical Training IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Deliver single to multi-day training programs (in-person or virtual) using various methods, including presentations, discussions, simulations, and hands-on activities.
- Conduct training needs analysis to align workforce development with operational performance metrics.
- Stay updated on new logistics technologies, systems, and processes, incorporating these into training programs to ensure operational excellence.
- Implement technology-enhanced learning solutions to improve employee readiness and job performance in logistics operations.
- Apply effective training techniques such as flexible learning, behavior reinforcement, and time management to ensure learner engagement and success.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, encouraging questions, hands-on participation, and ongoing development.
- Gather and analyze training feedback to continuously improve training materials and ensure alignment with business needs.
