The Global Media Sales organizations empower direct advertisers as well as networked and independent agencies of all sizes around the world to reach their maximum potential through paid Search/Non-Search advertising. We are seeking a top performing Agency Partner Manager to maximize Search/Non-Search advertising investment on the Microsoft Advertising platform.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years relevant work experience (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising)
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 6+ years relevant work experience (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising)
    • OR Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 4+ years relevant work experience (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising).
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Organizational agility to work across functions, markets and segments; and driving scaled programs.
  • Proven track record in nurturing trusted relationships with agency decision makers; possessing a high degree of entrepreneurial spirit, executive maturity, integrity and accountability.
  • Solid quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to link data to insights and actions.
  • Technical competency with digital ad products.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders with differing priorities, projects and deadlines.
  • Experience consistently demonstrating a ‘growth mindset’; embracing continuous learning; challenging the status quo, being brave, ‘failing fast’ and rapidly iterating.
  • Passion for contributing to a diverse and inclusive culture, where everyone can bring their full and authentic selves; where all voices are heard; and where the team can do their best work as a result.
  • Domestic/international travel anticipated, although requirements will be assessed in the post-pandemic period.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the aligned Agency Leads, nurture trusted and valued relationships with key agency leaders and stakeholders within each agency group. Eg, Heads of Digital, Head of Search & their respective teams.
  • Hold accountability for meeting/exceeding advertising revenue targets.
  • Serve as MSA product expert, educating agencies on solutions and partner with cross-functional teams to provide solutions to agencies, while working together with Microsoft client teams in developing scaled approaches to drive adoption.
  • In partnership with Agency Leads, identify, create, and implement client initiatives and solutions grounded on achieving measurable business results for our partners.
  • Partner & Collaborate with the Microsoft Advertising Media & Gaming sales teams to drive agency adoption, including relationship-building beyond existing Search partnerships and into Native/ Display/ Video/Gaming solutions.
  • Support the Agency Lead with driving scaled programs and foster intentional conversation around commercial deals and joint accountability.
  • Analyze data and deliver insights and reporting to identify areas of opportunity and guide the strategy and partnership roadmap to drive growth.
  • Execute agency-wide, scaled initiatives including sales contests, training, certification, and marketing events within partnership frameworks.
  • Build and manage relationships with key agency stakeholders (media, creative, measurement and automation technology).
  • Partner with other functional teams (Marketing, Analytics & Insights, Technical Account Management, Field Sales Excellence, Operations, Global Partner Service) to ensure full leverage of available resources/ budgets/ tools etc. to drive partnership value for Holding Company within the customer book.
  • Act as a point of escalation for troubleshooting billing and technical support.
  • Operate as a key internal lead for the onboarding of new agency-aligned advertisers through the Microsoft Advertising Agency Center (MAAC).
  • Work in tandem with Agency Leads to drive agency nominations for Partner Awards.
  • Ensure CRM hygiene through regular contact management.
