The Coalition is looking for an inspiring, highly motivated Senior Multiplayer Level Designer to design multiplayer maps. Our ideal candidate possesses experience with multiplayer map design and the Unreal level creation tools. Candidates will be expected to partner with and guide other members of the Level Design team, the Level Art team, programmers, and other design disciplines to help make the design vision set out by design direction a reality.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Art, Writing, Behavioral Science, Game Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience in game development and design, systems design, content production, or related field
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Art, Writing, Behavioral Science, Data Science, Game Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience in game development and design, systems design, content production, or related field
- OR equivalent experience
- Have shipped at least 1 AAA title released to consumers/shipped game
- 4+ year's of experience working on visual game editors, ideally Unreal Engine.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working collaboratively in a cross-discipline development environment.
- Ability to integrate design concepts such as navigation flow, engagement channels, and pacing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to execute designs for presentations and/or based on audience and situation.
- Awareness of accessibility and inclusivity with respect to both video games and workspace environments.
- Motivated to improve workflows and pipelines.
- Passionate about games and gaming.
Game Design IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $114,400 - CAD $203,900 per year.

Responsibilities
- Ideate and steward the design of multiple maps from conception to the final stages of polish.
- Own the design and quality of your levels and ensure that your peers understand and follow a unified vision.
- Design execution of engaging multiplayer levels from concept to building and tuning.
- Participate in critique sessions to provide input to personal and peers’ work.
- Regularly present your work to Directors and adjust quickly to Director feedback.
- Generate, iterate, and maintain design documentation.
- Collaborate with other designers to create metrics and standards for play.
- Share your creativity, knowledge and best practices with other level designers, including remote team members.
- Push the boundaries of our gameplay systems and find inspiring ways to make the game shine.
- Share your knowledge and mentor less experienced level designers.
