Overview
As a Client Director in Microsoft Advertising this person is responsible to manage, grow and foster revenue and partnerships across our key clients. This opportunity will allow you to develop deep business acumen, hone your selling skills, and become adept at driving valuable partnerships.
You will enable Microsoft to better serve strategic customers by applying customer obsession to what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and acting to build successful, long-term relationships. You will develop and maintain solid customer relationships anchored on connections with C-level executives and Business and Technical Decision Makers in customers’ organizations. You will also develop quality customer plans, laying out revenue and growth strategies for customer satisfaction. Your success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience and optimizing opportunities. This opportunity will allow you to execute with excellence to drive client success and business as well as drive both revenue and customer satisfaction across MSA’s performance solutions. [This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% away from the office].

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, search advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, search advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales
- OR strong and proven experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, search advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales.
- Experience in online media or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.
- Strong and proven experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
- Experience in Retail Advertising preferred

Responsibilities
- You will develop, lead and execute MSA sales strategy & priorities to enable client growth of existing and new products. Purposefully positions outcomes within the context of the client’s digital marketing journey from current to future state.
- You will work to influence CMO and Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through Relationship Building as a compelling storyteller, leading with emotional intelligence, communicating with confidence and by effectively listening to identify clients’ end to end needs.
- You will lead Sales planning with the Account v-team including achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets while also opening new share of wallet opportunities with Audience ads and other incubations products and ensure shared accountability for sales targets with the v-team. Works in partnership with v-team to bring the best resources to ensure deal success.
- You will expand the client's view of the importance of MSA products and concede negotiables in an order that ensures both parties feel they are winning. Effectively maintains good working relationships with those involved in negotiation; persuading others without using manipulation and maintaining a positive atmosphere during difficult objections & negotiations.
- You will lead the update of pipeline reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensures the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections.
- You will execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals per the MSA Solution Selling process for new deals, driving for client verifiable outcomes at each stage.
