The Senior Category Manager, Performance & Market Insights, on the Worldwide Windows Consumer Category Planning Team develops and shares critical market insights and trends reflecting the voice of the customer and broader Windows ecosystem through monthly ROB ownership. This is not your typical business intelligence (BI) reporting role. It’s about understanding the business dynamics worldwide within each region, highlighting successes, identifying opportunities and the appropriate actionable activities. The role is integral to the Devices & Creativity team and to executive leaders across the Windows consumer business.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
- OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Finance, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI in data analytics
- Experience working on projects across large groups of key stakeholders to drive change and impact.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively about data and performance.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
- OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience working with consumer or retail channels.
- 7+ years experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI in data analytics.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects of different scopes and timelines.
- Experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations utilizing data to articulate complex scenarios.
- Understanding of business performance financials, metrics, and management.
- Executive presence. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization internally and externally.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
- Partner with corporate Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Device Partner Sales team, CSO field teams and executive leaders to synthesize business performance results, voice of customer insights, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
- Dissect business problems, formulate precise questions, and then map the questions into analysis to deliver a clear and simplified story about our business.
- Own data tools/processes, reporting frameworks, related security/compliance programs, and third-party relationships (Circana, Gfk, Algo) to deliver comprehensive ecosystem reporting for high-quality insights. Lead data transformation projects to evolve fidelity and effectiveness of toolsets.
- Work on all aspects of business performance including fiscal year planning, monthly and weekly insights on global performance, and long-range strategic projects.
- Build the right rhythm of business to ensure retail partner, market, and ecosystem level learnings are regularly captured, shared and programs/strategy evolve based on key learnings.
- The candidate should be a solid communicator and storyteller; capable of delivering insights in a concise and consumable manner across the organization including our executives to enable decisions that ultimately run and grow our business.
