We are looking for a Worldwide Learning Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Corporate Vice President and will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-platform internal communications plan that aligns leadership messaging with organizational priorities and enhances employee engagement. You will also help position the leader—and Microsoft—as a thought leader through compelling narratives and communications for key moments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management,
    • or related experience
  • 4+ years of experience partnering with Senior leadership to develop Executive Communication Strategies and Plans (i.e. Editorial Calendars).

  • 4+ years of experience in organizing and planning large town halls and developing content for special events.

  • 4+ years of experience working with Sharepoint and leveraging it as a Communications tool.

Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Internal Communications Strategy - Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications plan that supports business and cultural priorities. Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned across platforms and audience; management of internal awards program and communications.
  • Thought Leadership & External Visibility - Craft impactful narratives and content that elevate the leader’s voice externally through speaking engagements, blogs, social media, and industry events.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work in close partnership with business manager and senior leadership communications teams to ensure alignment with Microsoft’s broader narrative and communication strategy.
  • Content Development - Write and edit a variety of content including executive emails, talking points, presentations, video scripts, and internal storytelling assets.
