Overview

Project Sophia, also known as the “Business Research Agents” represents new, immersive experiences in Dynamics 365. They are built to fully transform how Business Leaders can approach and solve complex, cross-domain business challenges, unleashing the value of the enterprise data estate in ways unimaginable without the power of AI.

Designed to represent the business research function in an organization - the Business Research Agents in D365 embody a range of specialized agents to gather, analyze, and transform business data into intelligent visualizations and text narratives. Empowered to ask any business question, business leaders will have instant support from their own personal team of agentic business analysts and subject matter experts enabling them to identify opportunities for optimization of strategic business outcomes across products, services, territories, humans and agents.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our team.

The Business Research Agents were designed ground up, from innovative AI-first principles, and every experience, every interaction has been designed leveraging the full power and potential of generative AI. By combining the power of Large Language Models with deep domain and business process intelligence delivered through the Microsoft specific AI innovations, experiences and outcomes have been greatly optimized to bring business value to leaders and managers, empowering them to explore and address highly complex business challenges in a self-serve manner.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of UX experience

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience defining innovative, high-usage user experiences.
  • Experience using data to drive prioritization and measure progress
  • Technical experience with technologies such as cloud computing
  • Experience with AI
  • 3+ years of people management experience

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Project Sophia team, play a central role in defining product integration strategy.
  • Define and drive the engagement plan with partner teams across Microsoft to align on strategy, scenarios, and technology integrations to drive product-led growth.
  • Understand the AI and Business Application industry landscape, competition, and customer needs in order to drive market leading experiences.
  • Aid in overall product definition and drive AI powered innovation across the full product.
  • Define and drive the innovative user experiences managing the close engagement with our design team.
  • Define and drive the end-to-end customer feedback loop.
  • Represent the product with customers, partners and analysts.
  • Partner with stakeholder teams across sales, marketing, support, business planning to ensure product growth is supported across all relevant Microsoft delivery vehicles
