Overview

We are hiring Principal Product Managers with a proven track record in developing AI-driven, scalable advertising products.

These roles are available in Redmond, WA and Mountain View, CA.

In this role, you will oversee the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Microsoft Advertising Products. You will collaborate with teams in Data Science, System Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, Legal, and Finance to develop effective ad products for our advertisers.

We are hiring for multiple roles across different teams which are part of Microsoft Artificial Intelligence (MAI) Monetization- Advertiser Platform including teams for:

  • Ads Creatives
  • Ads Planning and Recommendations
  • Advertiser Experimentations
  • Auto Bidding
  • Campaign Creation
  • Reporting

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product management
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' experience developing digital advertising products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product management
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in building large scale solutions.
  • Experience with A/B testing.
  • Experience with digital advertising, bidding, budgets, conversions auction dynamics.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.

Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.

Responsibilities

Product Leadership: Develop and communicate the strategy and roadmap for a product area.

Customer Interface: Represent the product to customers and advocate their needs internally.

Execution: Navigate ambiguity, make tough decisions, and ensure team alignment.

Communication & Collaboration: Work effectively with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and other teams.

Data Science: Use data to guide product changes and identify opportunities, collaborating with ML and Data scientists.

GTM Efforts: Lead go-to-market initiatives with marketing and sales.
