Overview

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is rewriting the rules of business and transforming work as we know it. The ABS Future of Work Thought Leadership and Marketing team is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Editorial to drive editorial and operational excellence. In this role, you will deliver world-class editorial that connects with its audience wherever they consume content. This is a highly collaborative role that requires an agile generalist who can partner closely with rotating teams of product marketers, researchers, PR (Public Relations), and executive communications teams.

You will strategically shape and launch content across a range of formats and channels—from executive-authored newsletters and Work Trend Index reports to product blogs and demos, business decks and keynotes, video scripts, LinkedIn articles, white papers, and op-eds. The role needs a flexible, dynamic leader who is passionate about technology and ready to drive impact, with a proven ability to leverage AI tools to elevate editorial and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Editing and Writing experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading worldclass editorial teams, including as a managing editor, executive editor, deputy editor, or articles editor.
  • Experience translating complex technology concepts into simple, convincing marketing copy that resonates with customers.
  • Experience managing agency partners, including editorial planning, rhythm of business, and budget oversight.
  • Experience working with AI and agents to build efficiencies into editorial and operational processes.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead editorial excellence across thought leadership and product content, translating research findings, product innovation, and market signals into provocative storylines and coining terms and concepts to frame the conversation on AI at work
  • Build and maintain an operational system for editorial content—from creative brief to a learnings summary—that aligns teams, drives efficiencies, and measures performance against clear goals
  • Demonstrate an unwavering passion and aptitude for technology—with the ability to zag between broad insights and specific feature updates, and the tenacity to work closely with product marketers to turn technological descriptions into clear, convincing marketing copy
  • Ensure all content maintains a high bar for clarity, executive tone, marketing value, and business alignment, and is fact-checked and copy-edited
  • Working closely with the director of marketing communications, help build a performance-driven team that responds to market trends and evolving business priorities with agility and innovation
  • Lead a quarter-over-quarter growth plan to drive editorial efficiencies with AI and agents, holding team accountable against clear success benchmarks
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams—including PR, product marketing, and research partners to co-create and drive content campaigns
  • Manage creative agency partners, driving efficiencies and maintaining a high bar of editorial excellence
