As a Senior Business Planner, you will focus on the end-to-end execution of pricing across a broad portfolio. You will work with a team of business planners to understand products and translate the pricing strategy into execution. You will also partner with a variety of stakeholders, from business planners to launch leads to engineers, to ensure the pricing scope is accurately executed. You will also identify, develop, and execute process improvements to drive efficiency at scale.

You’ll be working in the Azure, Windows, and Industry Monetization on a team driving the growth of a multi-billion dollar Compute and Strategic Partnerships business. We are looking for a senior business planner who is passionate about technology, process, and helping others. In this role, you will be focused on helping our business planners execute pricing for launches and partnering across stakeholders to ensure our pricing lands effectively in market.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in strategy and end-to-end execution on business initiatives.
  • 2+ years' experience partnering with diverse stakeholders to define and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Communication and leadership skills to drive projects and build executive buy-in and support for key projects.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related field
    • OR 6+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience AND Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • A track record of working across diverse stakeholders to define and execute pricing with passion, precision, and excellence
  • Attention to detail, ability to identify process efficiencies, and dedication to end-to-end operational execution
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to arrive at key launch decisions
  • Organizational skills and the ability to program manage across different workstreams
  • Business judgement leveraging strong strategic thinking complemented with a bias for action and execution/operational excellence.
  • Communication and leadership skills to drive projects and build executive buy-in and support for key projects.
  • Dedication to execution and ability to identify opportunities to drive efficiencies

Business Planning IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Transactability and Execution – Drive at scale operational execution through rigorous program/workstream management and create a coherent customer experience in support of the business. Leverage existing team processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Launch Planning - Translate business models into operational launch requirements, manage launch scope, timelines, and deliverables using launch tools
  • Monetization Impact Focus on delivering real results through close proximity to the business. Develop and share insights on what is working and what is not working to achieve business outcomes to enhance go-forward strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management Serve as a central point of contact for the team’s launch efforts, aligning across broad range of stakeholders in Engineering, Operations, Product Marketing, Finance and Sales
