The Azure SMB team is passionate about cloud technologies and the opportunities it creates for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). We work closely with Azure product PMMs, as well as sales, finance, and other teams to create, optimize and adopt marketing campaigns, solution plays, go to market strategies, customer programs and tools that support the strategic priorities of the Azure business. We strive to translate product complexities into actionable scale engines and go-to-market execution worldwide.

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager - Azure SMB Partner Marketing to drive the next wave of growth and enablement for Azure partners working with SMB customers. This opportunity will enable the right candidate to develop deep business acumen, explore new business models and nurture the growth of a vibrant Azure partner ecosystem driving sales across thousands of SMB customers. Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of the partner ecosystem, experience working with cloud technology partners, or working for a cloud partner organization demonstrated through at least 3+ years of experience in partner focused role.
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal. With the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization -- including with executives -- with actionable clarity and transparency.
  • Experience with data-driven analysis and interpretation. Including experience with reporting platforms, trends and anomaly detection, and holistic problem diagnosis.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience using intellectual curiosity and critical thinking to break through team hurdles, create new opportunities, and understand root cause.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute tailored growth strategies for each partner subsegment, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities. Continuously assess performance and adjust strategies to maximize partner impact and growth.
  • Conduct on-going research on partner business and profitability to inform recommendations for Azure SMB partner growth strategy. Identify capability requirements and success metrics for each partner growth phase. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure partners are equipped to progress and drive strong Azure business.
  • Partner with Global Partner Sales (GPS) and Incentives team to design and implement scalable partner programs and incentives that drive engagement, enablement, and performance. Ensure programs are aligned with Azure solution plays and business outcomes.
  • Co-design the development, planning and delivery of enablement initiatives that build partner skills, knowledge, and readiness on Azure and the SMB segment. Ensure enablement content is relevant, accessible, and aligned with solution priorities.
  • Define, create and maintain the bill of materials (BOM) for each solution play, ensuring partners have the right assets, tools, and guidance to drive SMB sales and success.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, GPS, field teams to keep BOMs updated and impactful.
  • Build and track capacity analysis and insights for partner ecosystem (Reach, Frequency, Yield) and for Azure SMB business.
