Overview
The Edge Distribution Services (EDS) team is dedicated to hyperscale software delivery and pioneering secure supply chain innovations that shape the future of how the company delivers software to consumers and businesses worldwide. We are expanding the reach of Microsoft's secure software supply chain, which currently backs Windows Update and Microsoft Update, to meet growing needs from product groups across the company. EDS is a hiring a Product Manager II to help make our supply chain easy to onboard, integrate, and use by product makers across the company.
As a Product Manager II, you will be defining and delivering tools that integrate with engineering systems to enable automation. You will be reimagining a complete customer experience beyond tools and automations by defining and delivering a new portal experience with an AI-first product mindset. This opportunity will allow you to work closely with marquee product makers across the company to build deep customer insights on their challenges and wishes for distributing software securely at scale. You will build skills in product design and usability and will pioneer our focus on defining and delivering tailored AI-first experiences across our customer surfaces.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience completing one or more full product cycles, from planning to shipping.
- Experience synthesizing product and customer data to generate key insights, to establish metrics and goals, and inform product planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Responsibilities
- Drive and track success criteria of a feature group.
- Parther with others to identify short-term investment opportunities and collaborate with partners to garner support for that feature group.
- Define a feature set and will facilitate usability reviews with customers.
- Own a portion of the roadmap for a feature group, and organize scenario walkthroughs to identify problems.
- Partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses to incrementally improve product development in specific areas.
- Begin to manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers.
