Overview

As a Product Manager II on the Create team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering new AI-powered creation experiences in Microsoft 365 Copilot. You will work closely with engineers, designers, researchers, and other product managers to understand customer problems, identify opportunities, and launch innovative solutions. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams across Microsoft to align on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for these AI-forward creation experiences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to develop product roadmaps to deliver customer and business value across products and services.
  • Track record of successful design, delivery, and iteration on complex projects with a diverse set of stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in product management OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of building and launching generative AI products, with hands-on experience in applying large language models, diffusion models, or other AI models to solve real-world user problems. Demonstrated ability to translate cutting-edge AI research into scalable, user-centric product experiences
  • Solid customer empathy and user-centric mindset, with experience in conducting user research and testing.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive product decisions.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence various audiences.
  • Experience of delivering high-quality products that meet customer and business goals.
  • Passion for innovation and creativity, with a willingness to experiment and learn from failures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment.


Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on customer and business needs, data, and feedback.
  • Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
  • Communicate and present product vision, strategy, and roadmap to various stakeholders, including senior leadership, engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
  • Measure and evaluate product performance, user behavior, and customer satisfaction using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Iterate and improve the product based on user feedback, data, and learnings.
