Overview
Would you like to create tools and systems to construct one of the largest and fastest growing networks on the planet?
Azure Networking is looking for creative, motivated data and applied scientists to develop new, cutting-edge services to enable hyperscale growth. The Wide Area Network (WAN) team is responsible for the Wide Area Network interconnecting over 100 data centers, 150 edge sites, and millions of servers all over the world. We are passionate about building the most reliable cloud network using innovations in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), machine learning, optimization, and systems automation.
Our team is tackling two of the hardest problems in cloud networking - predicting what the network needs to look like in the future and preventive risk alerting based on network state and traffic growth to ensure safe network operation.
Our team owns the entire software lifecycle from design through development, deployment, and operations. This is a high visibility position in Azure Networking and offers a terrific opportunity for technical and career growth.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals.
