We’re seeking a front-end Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of real-time reporting and analytics across the platform. Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable frontend solutions for real-time reporting and analytics, making key technical decisions that improve long-term system health.
Drive end-to-end technical design for major features, influencing product direction and ensuring engineering decisions align with business goals.
Elevate performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across platforms by applying deep expertise in modern frontend engineering patterns.
Serve as the Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for critical services—owning mitigation, root cause analysis, and implementing long-term reliability improvements through high quality observability and automation.
Mentor and coach early-in-career engineers, providing guidance on engineering best practices, code quality, design patterns, and inclusive engineering behaviors.
Advocate for engineering excellence, driving improvements in code quality, test coverage, accessibility standards, and operational readiness.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including (but not limited to) JavaScript/TypeScript, C/C++, C#, Java, or Python; or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in front-end development.
4+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
4+ years of experience integrating with RESTful APIs and cloud services.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Requirements
Master’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 6+ years of engineering experience; OR Bachelor’s degree AND 8+ years of experience;
OR equivalent experience.
Demonstrated expertise leading initiatives that span multiple teams or technical domains, such as cross service integrations, platform level enhancements, or multicomponent UX flows.
Experience shaping frontend architectural strategy (e.g., modular component frameworks, design systems, state management patterns, accessibility toolchains).
Ability to apply data driven engineering practices (telemetry, experimentation, performance profiling, accessibility audits) to improve customer experience at scale.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
