The Global Marketing Engines & Experiences (GME&E) team is driving the marketing transformation of Microsoft’s largest and fastest-growing commercial cloud businesses. We are seeking a Senior Manager Creative Art to spearhead the visual and storytelling strategy across our commercial social ecosystem. This role will bring brand affinity and audience engagement to life across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Facebook, X, Reddit, and more. You’ll ideate, produce, and evolve social-native creative that resonates with commercial and technical audiences. In this role, you will demonstrate an understanding of internet culture, apply design intuition, and contribute a blend of strategic thinking, creative design, and production capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Partner with copywriters and strategists to shape creative concepts and campaigns aligned to platform trends and business goals.
- Lead ideation and development of social-first campaigns, content series, real-time content and activations.
- Translate insights, trends, and cultural moments into breakthrough visual and editorial concepts.
- Design or oversee design of quick-turn assets across formats (video, animation, stills).
- Use AI-powered creative tools to concept, produce, and refine compelling videos and stills that reflect trending visuals (e.g., glass fruit cutting, made of water, etc.).
- Document and maintain brand lookbooks, style guides, and creative best practices. Advocate for audience-first creative by applying performance insights and testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure creative output is brand-right, platform-optimized, and strategically sound.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications or related art field AND 4+ years experience in art design or a related art field working on advertising, marketing or social media content.
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience writing for digital, social, or integrated campaigns — ideally within a B2B or tech environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating editorial range, platform fluency, and creative storytelling across formats.
- Presentation and storytelling skills, including the ability to pitch ideas to senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of commercial audiences and how to tailor messaging to meet strategic business outcomes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products and ecosystem is a plus.
- Experience working with creative teams and agencies; agency experience preferred.
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, and proactive.

Art IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
