We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join our Cloud Observability Team. This diverse group of engineers is responsible for building the systems which monitor the performance and health of our customers' MongoDB deployments. Their tools provide diagnostic metrics and valuable insights like schema and index suggestions, to ensure our customers are getting the most out of MongoDB.

• Contribute to the code, design, and architecture of the systems your team develops
• Work with stakeholders throughout MongoDB to refine our roadmap and product offerings

What We Look for

• 2+ years of experience managing a team of 3+ engineers and providing technical leadership
• 5+ years of professional experience developing software in compiled languages
• A passion for collaboration and teamwork, with an approachable and curious nature
• Multiple years of professional experience designing and building full stack web applications
• Familiarity with observability products and a developer-focused mindset
• Experience in people management and technical leadership
• The ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments to lead projects to completion
