Role & Responsibilities:
Thesis & Opportunity Development (50%):
- Dive into market research, extracting hidden gems and propelling initiatives forward
- Synthesize cultural, market, and industry intelligence into actionable insights
- Elevate yourself into a subject matter expert overnight in new opportunity spaces
- Master the art of packaging market analysis into strategic rationale and internal business cases
- Communicate findings effectively and strategically to internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to articulate Newlab's perspective on emerging challenges
- Scout for potential partners to supercharge initiative advancement
- Curate pipelines of strategic partners and collaboration opportunities
- Engineer valuable synergies between partner networks for impactful projects
- Skillfully navigate complex stakeholder relationships
- Craft compelling pitch presentations that resonate with potential partners
- Architect the operational framework for the Strategic Growth team
- Drive process systemization and tool development for efficient sensing efforts
- Take ownership of HubSpot, ensuring seamless team operation
- Maintain deal and partner pipelines with crystal-clear communication
- Develop dynamic metrics, enabling transparent initiative tracking
- Facilitate knowledge exchange among different Newlab departments and stakeholders
- Bridge communication between the Strategic Growth team and the organization's Business Process working group
- 3-4 years of full-time work experience, preferably in consulting, strategy, or business operations
- Proven track record in market research, landscape analyses, and external stakeholder engagement
- Accomplished in partnership development and stakeholder relationship management
- Exposure to deep technology sectors; climate-related experience a plus
- Enthusiasm for researching and supporting transformative technologies driving the energy transition
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Experience in crafting meaningful progress reports and metrics
- Adept in market research and synthesis, with an eye for spotting opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Quick adoption of technological tools
- Proficient in CRM tools like HubSpot and Airtable
- Skilled in coalition building and leading cross-functional teams
