About the Team:
You will be working closely with recognized payments leaders uniquely positioned to solve this problem with 20+ years of experience under their belt building first-of-a-kind digital payment products along with operating and building experience across JPMorgan, Forge, CBInsights, Sift, DoubleVerify, among others. The company is backed by FirstMark Capital, Barclays Bank, Anthemis that have taken countless companies to IPO such as Shopify and Airbnb. Investors also include experienced operators in the payment and risk space, including the COO of Stripe, Founder of Tenable and senior operators at Chime, Stripe, Alloy and Justworks.
You'll be working on:
Nivelo is expanding its product team to advance our B2B payment business that helps employers move money instantly and without risk. As an early member of Nivelo you will help shape the growth, direction, and culture of the product team. You'll work directly with Nivelo leadership, and own the roadmap and product strategy needed to support our clients.
Work closely with CEO to define product strategy
Conduct user interviews and become the steward for the voice of our customers, helping ensure our products delight, educate and expand the risk capabilities of digital payment companies
Help develop and introduce standardized product processes to scale our organization and enhance cross team collaboration
Own product execution
What we're looking for:
A passion for open banking and the availability of digital faster payments
Deep expertise in digital payments and money movement (ACH, RTP, FedNOW)
6+ years of product management and collaboration with engineering teams
Entrepreneurial spirit: Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment, deals well with ambiguity and focuses on driving impact
Experience building systems from the ground up
Ownership mindset - caring about seeing features through from start to finish
Obsess about continuous product improvement based on customer feedback and data
A capability to think outside the box and strategically analyze new situations
Strong communication skills: High attention to detail including precise and effective communications with external customers/partners
Empathy and humility
Nice to Haves:
Experience leading a product team at a fintech startup
CS or engineering degree, or equivalent experience
Conducting product market research and building buy-in for product ideas from internal stakeholders and leadership
Experience working in a startup environment
