The SEI Investment Manager Services is seeking a Director for its newly established transfer agency for alternative products. In this role, the director will support the growth and success of the newly established business by planning and executing on implementing best in class operational processes. You will work across the market unit and the existing transfer agency operations to drive alignment with sales and operations bringing this unifying solution to both new and existing SEI clients.
You will play a primary role in leading and supporting the transfer agency effort from Day One planning to full integration execution. You will be instrumental to the planning and executing of operational processes for multiple SEI and customer ecosystems. To succeed in this role, you will collaborate closely with the SEI business stakeholders, Solutions, Tech Services, Legal, Compliance and Reg Services to design an integration plan to support the business’ objectives.
The ideal candidate is action-oriented, impact-focused, and has an operational and integration background. The ability to understand the broader integration strategy and anticipate potential issues and risks and quickly identify mitigations is a necessity. Relevant experience across SEI business units is a plus.
What you will do:
- Support the SEI Transfer Agency program for multiple Market Units. Help orchestrate cross-functional teams through integration/implementation planning and execution with Solutions, Sales, and Operations.
- Serve as the face of the SEI Alternatives Transfer Agency team by staying current with the evolving partner strategy and business landscape and any broader operational, legal and regulatory initiatives.
- Establish a strong partnership with the key stakeholders by deal to collaborate and stay aligned on the operating model, program strategy and execution, progress, risks, and key decisions.
- Lead transfer agency discovery sessions to understand the current operational model and partner ecosystem for the new business, or conversion with existing customer base.
- Define, implement, and communicate Key Performance Indicators to showcase the impact of TA revenue, partner(platform) capacity, and partner(platform) experience.
- Design & collaboratively build executive-level reporting.
- Support Transfer Agency communication plan and ongoing enablement efforts to drive awareness and action.
- Nurture the new business line through development of authentic, trusting working relationships and a thoughtful change management program which results in an optimized employee and partner experience.
- Implement effective operational processes with a lens towards scale and repeatability. Deliver continuous improvements that drive high impact value.
- Enhance the SEI TA playbook with learnings from each conversion from competitive TA solutions and continue to maintain with support from the broader team’s contribution on a periodic basis.
- Work closely with current institutional transfer agency team and account management to ensure implementation plan is appropriately tailored to the business and employees being converted or onboarded to SE, resulting in consistency of process, high employee engagement and business performance that meets or exceeds expected levels.
- Monitor, update, and propose changes to weekly TA key milestone reporting; present reporting to key leadership as required
What we need from you:
- Experience: Substantial experience in working directly in Transfer Agency implementation and alternative products or across a broad range of disciplines of consulting; Strategy, Product, Commercial, Operations, Procurement leading functional and/or project teams in transformation project work
- Program Management Skills: Experience in planning and implementation of complex, cross functional business requirements. Effective in influencing to drive decisions. Ability to work well under deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
- Data Analysis: Skilled in data reporting, data analysis, and business impact interpretation.
- Business Operations: Experience in operations including partner programs, partner onboarding, partner growth, partner marketing, lead / deal registration, partner portals, and/or partner co-selling.
- Transfer Agency leadership Experience: Prior experience in TA and the integration of recently hired teams into new organizational systems and processes - while minimizing disruption and optimizing for value creation.
