About the role

You will improve the member care and services provided by Oscar and our network partners. You will work on operations and projects to support the national accreditation programs through the execution of quality improvement operations and documentation to meet NCQA and other regulatory requirements.

You will report to the Quality Improvement Operations Manager.

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $76,000 - $99,750 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $68,400 - $89,775 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead completion of Oscar's QI Program and Accreditation program(s) to ensure that regular reports, quality improvement projects, and committee meetings meet NCQA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the quarterly and annual quality improvement and accreditation reports for all partners, including Executive Leadership teams
  • Lead the completion of the annual Quality Improvement/Population Health documentation, including the annual evaluations, through leading and influence collaborative efforts with company partners to improve ongoing QI performance
  • Manage relationships with important partners from relevant committees and subject areas to identify measurements required for ongoing quarterly analysis in committees and workgroups.
  • Identify and share action items and findings with respective partners to ensure continuity of process improvement
  • Work with company partners to develop recruitment campaigns, onboards, and coordinates with network providers (external) to ensure appropriate participation in the QI program.
  • Help train and create procedural documentation for team members
  • Be a subject matter expert on NCQA standards and state-based regulatory requirements relevant to the program documentation and committee expectations.
  • Coordinate documentation and quality improvement activities that support our strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of healthcare related experience in project management or quality improvement
  • Demonstrated experience creating and following a project plan
  • Promote engagement from teams to meet competing priorities
  • Experience presenting and communicating with company partners
  • Demonstrated writing skills to create meeting documentation, including reports and minutes, using correct grammar, syntax and punctuation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care, information systems, social sciences, public health or other related fields
  • Experience facilitating formal meetings and writing reports and minutes that are used for NCQA or regulatory evidence
  • Have knowledge around industry best practices and regulatory compliant reporting

Pay Transparency:

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
