Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Associate, Marketing to join our Marketing team.

About the role:

The Associate, Marketing supports growth marketing functions ensuring accuracy and maximum performance. The Associate develops, plans and executes marketing campaigns, leveraging historical performance data to continually improve. The Associate, Marketing uses their detail oriented nature to efficiently and effectively work with cross functional partners to ensure flawless execution. The Associate uses their analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements for future iterations.

You will report into the Associate Director, Product Marketing.

Work Location: This position is based in our New York office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $101,844 - $133,670 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, executing, measuring and optimizing multichannel campaigns to achieve stated goals.Gather inputs, determine supporting strategies, write and kick off clear creative briefs to partner teams, monitor timelines, manage feedback and ensure deadlines are met with flawless accuracy.
  • Proactively identify the needs of various audiences, crafting recommendations and forecasts to address opportunities.
  • Implement a/b tests that meet statistical significance thresholds, support analyzing results and play a key role in supporting recommending future optimizations.
  • Work cross functionally with multiple partners to develop an understanding of our products, partner needs and business opportunities and help create a marketing plan to support identified needs and support organizational growth goals.
  • Monitor performance KPIs and campaign performance, summarizing insights and making recommendations for optimization or additional opportunities.
  • Maintain the feedback ecosystem and conduct audience research, surveys and solicit feedback to inform Sales, Marketing and others on key priorities.
  • Stay abreast of trends and best practices in key marketing channels including email, SMS, direct mail, digital & social, and website in order to help inform our approach and increase performance
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of experience using data and analytics to evaluate effectiveness and impact of marketing campaigns
  • 1+ years of experience with marketing measurement including a/b testing, campaign performance, forecasting, optimization and setting up measurable campaigns
  • 2+ years of experience creating, designing and optimizing marketing campaign planning and processes. Both supporting creating new and improving existing.
  • 2+ years of experience with at least 2 key marketing channels - email, sms, direct mail, paid digital (social, sem,display, etc), website optimization both utilizing for campaigns and measuring.
  • 1+ years of experience creating presentations and presenting to cross functional partners

Bonus points:

  • Bachelors in marketing, finance, data science or economics
  • Experience in healthcare, specifically insurance sector, and /or Individual and Family plans
  • Experiencing navigating direct to consumer audiences or business to business audience
  • Demonstrated ability to create and adhere to a detailed marketing process

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
