About the role
As a key member of the Field & Events team, you will manage Ramp’s budding community of customers and to strengthen brand loyalty, advocacy, and engagement.
You will work closely with Brand, Product, Customer Success, and People teams to design and execute strategies that engage the Ramp community and drive brand awareness. Responsibilities include internal & external communications, content & speaker management, brand design coordination, event logistics, vendor management, staffing training and budget management.
This high-impact role requires creative thinking, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration to drive Ramp's brand presence and support our growth goals.
What You’ll Do
Own and execute Ramp’s community event strategy to drive brand awareness, engage the Ramp partner and customer community, and identify prospective employees.
Manage end-to-end program planning & execution; including deciding what events we host, driving new events programs and activations, maintaining an annual budget, and analyzing program results
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging, promotion, deliverables, and tactics align with event goals.
Set a high quality bar for event experience and execution, and develop systems to maintain this bar as we enter our next phase of growth
Develop a thought leadership strategy and support the selection and management of internal speakers and external guest speakers.
Establish success criteria and analyze event impact; prepare stakeholder and executive-level post-event follow up and make recommendations for improvement.
Build processes for repeatability and scalability of events activities including vendor partnerships to help us accommodate future growth.
Collaborate with Finance on budget, pipeline, and resource forecasting.
Provide onsite event management at our NY HQ event space and travel as needed (required multiple times per month).
What You’ll Need
2+ years experience at an agency, tech, or SaaS organization.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Self-starter initiative with the ability to adapt in rapidly changing environments.
Ability to make decisions and recommendations in ambiguous situations.
Ability to travel multiple times per quarter
