About the Role
Rho seeks a visionary Head of Brand Marketing to lead our in-house branding efforts and serve as our internal branding agency. This role will be responsible for shaping and evolving Rho's brand identity, overseeing brand strategy, and managing a team of brand designers. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity and strategic insight, ensuring that our brand resonates deeply with our target audience and stands out in the competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- In-House Creative Leadership: Lead our internal creative agency, providing direction for all brand-related projects and campaigns while ensuring alignment with Rho's vision.
- Brand Strategy Development: Create and execute Rho's comprehensive brand strategy, aligning with company goals and values while positioning us competitively in the market.
- Team Management: Mentor and manage a team of brand designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation while ensuring high-quality output.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and communications teams to ensure brand consistency and integration across all company initiatives.
- Brand Performance Analysis: Develop and implement brand measurement strategies, analyzing data to drive decisions and optimize brand performance.
- Internal Brand Advocacy: Educate and align the company around Rho's brand message and personality, serving as the primary brand advocate within the organization.
- Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and innovative branding techniques, incorporating cutting-edge strategies to keep Rho at the forefront of our market segment.
- Brand Asset Creation: Oversee the development of brand assets across all mediums, ensuring consistency and quality in visual identity, tone of voice, and brand personality.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executive leadership to refine brand positioning and messaging, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
- Budget Management: Oversee and optimize the brand department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and ROI on branding initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in branding, with 3+ years in a management role and a proven track record of developing and managing successful brand strategies
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand identity development and creative direction
- Brand agency experience is a plus
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Deep understanding of design principles, trends, and best practices
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience working with fintech or B2B brands preferred
- Proficiency in relevant design and project management software
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or related field; MBA is a plus
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with creative vision, bringing an agency-like approach to Rho's in-house branding efforts. They will be passionate about building and nurturing a strong brand identity that resonates with our target audience and drives business growth.
Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $172,500 - $182,500. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.
