The Role
By this fall, Rize will be powering over 430 academic programs for about 90 colleges in our network that are seeking innovative ways to grow enrollment, improve student outcomes, and enhance financial sustainability for their institution.
With the rapid growth we are creating at Rize, we need a highly motivated, dedicated, and energetic person to work closely with and oversee a subset of our partners to ensure their programs are successful in growing enrollment and improving student outcomes in a financially sustainable way.
You will report into the Head of Partnership Success and be responsible for maintaining account management strategy, overseeing strategic communications, delivering on partner retention, and closing expansion opportunities for partner colleges.
Responsibilities
- Dedicated Account Manager. Be a trusted partner and internal advocate to 55+ colleges in our network, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to set achievable goals and drive value
- Contract Upsells & Renewals. Lead the contract renewal process and sell expansion opportunities that align with account goals and strategy
- Ongoing Account Meetings. Meet with partners on a regular basis to review performance and expand brand awareness on campus to improve strength and satisfaction of the partner
- Partnership Communications. Oversee strategic and time-sensitive partnership communications
- New Account Onboarding. Perform partner onboarding, ensuring strong implementation and ongoing engagement through the partnership’s lifetime
- Product Feedback. Deliver product feedback to Rize’s Product and Engineering team that better serves our partners’ needs
- Relationship Builder. Identify and build strong relationships with partners acting as a marketing channel through case studies, testimonials, references, etc.
- Administrative Tasks. Conduct administrative tasks related to partner (e.g., billing)

Qualifications
We are open to hiring people from a range of backgrounds for this role. If you have experience in relationship-driven sales, account management, or customer success, and this role interests you, we encourage you to apply! Our ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, or consulting
- Growth mentality and the ability to promote collaboration with partners
- High attention to detail and the ability to think and plan strategically
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and adaptable to a fast-evolving environment
- Communicates empathically to navigate the complex higher education landscape
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to travel as needed
- New York City-based & willing to work 3 days in the office preferred
- Higher education experience preferred
Compensation
Compensation will vary with experience, but a rough range will be:
- On-Target Earning: $100-175k
- Equity: 5,500 - 11,000 shares
