We’re looking for a motivated and creative Content and Events Coordinator/Manager to join our Impact Marketing Communications team. This role will support content development and event execution, helping to amplify Salesforce’s sustainability and philanthropy initiatives. You will create engaging content across multiple channels—including blogs, social media, and video scripts—while also assisting in the planning and coordination of key events, such as webinars and industry conferences. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and manage content for various marketing channels (website, blogs, social media, email, etc.) to ensure alignment with brand messaging and audience engagement.

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including webinars, and presence at Salesforce-owned and third-party industry events.

  • Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events, including speaker coordination, venue management, and attendee communication.

  • Partner with the broader communications team on priority team-wide initiatives, including grant announcements, company news and events, and select executive projects.

  • Amplify key moments through internal communications and engage employees in impact initiatives.

  • Maintain and update content calendars and management tools to ensure timely delivery of content and align with marketing campaigns.

  • Monitor and report on content and event performance, analyzing key metrics to optimize future efforts.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to share best practices, identify areas of collaboration and opportunities to to engage our employees, customers, and communities in new ways.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in copywriting, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field. SEO experience preferred. Agency experience a plus but not required.

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and seamlessly adapt to changing priorities.

  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Familiar with content management tools and social media platforms. Comfortable using AI tools for content generation and productivity.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Superior grammar and spelling.

  • A collaborative team player, eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
