This is a great opportunity to join Spotify’s Strategic Client Partnership Team! We are looking for an outstanding Business Development Manager to support Spotify’s strategic advertising clients. This role will identify unique synergies and opportunities for growth between Spotify and the brands who we partner with globally.

We’re looking for someone with a genuine curiosity to understand and identify creative solutions which forge deep and valuable connections with our advertising clients. Candidates will have proven track record, a strong ability to negotiate, execute deals and work cross functionally. A passion for online media, data and ad tech. We want someone who loves our product and understands the adtech and advertising ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- This person will be responsible for developing strategic partner solutions for Spotify's advertising partners.
- Working with a variety of advertiser and agency opportunities you will identify complementary investment benefits which are relevant for our JBP partners.
- Promote Spotify’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Build, plan and present partner proposals which reflect Spotify partnership solutions and supports a revenue and/or growth strategy.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Ad Sales, Marketing and Content to ensure effective Ways of Working.
- Manage deal life cycles across a range of advertiser clients, inform, follow-through and close business for Spotify.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and insights which will shape future offerings.
- Analyze competitors and recommend strategies.
- Report to Strategic Client Partnerships Associate Director and support the wider BD teams efforts.
Who You Are
- You have 7+ years experience in a business development and/or sales roles.
- You have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and trends around agencies, advertisers, best practices, opportunities, and challenges.
- You have the ability to think outside of the box with a solutions oriented mindset.
- You nurture and grow c-level and senior relationships.
- You are a great teammate, smart, adapt well with change and have a positive attitude.
- You are able to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver.

The United States base range for this position is $138,270 - 197,529, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
