Spotify’s Creative Operations team is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to support Spotify’s sales teams. This Project Manager will work directly with Spotify’s largest brand partners, overseeing the production of all ad campaign components – including media placements and digital experiences. This role will also have a specialization in branded events, leading the production process for experiential campaigns. This position will require a deep understanding of the production process across multiple mediums, the ability to drive productivity amidst ambiguity, and the expertise to interpret and diplomatically convey complex feedback to a client, internal stakeholder, or external production partner.

Spotify is a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and this position will require autonomous management of high-stakes, complex ad campaigns across Spotify's free music tier and podcast catalog. The Project Manager will partner with Spotify’s Sales teams and a network of production partners to bring custom audio, digital, video, and event collateral to life, serving as the key point of contact throughout for Spotify’s most premium clients. The ideal candidate has deep client-facing experience, and identifies as a passionate and proactive problem-solver; is excited by cross-functional work and delivering a high volume of multi-faceted projects on time and to brief.
This role reports to a Senior Manager on the Creative Operations team and is based in the US.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the production of simultaneous, complex campaigns, by collaborating with internal and external production partners, Sales, Account Management, and Creative Strategy as the key stakeholder of the project timeline, delivery of assets, and client communication
- Serve as the client-facing lead for branded event production, partnering closely with Spotify’s Experiential teams
- Navigate through the push and pull between client needs and creative dreams, acting as the problem-solving bridge between revenue and creative
- Drive projects forward from kick-off to launch; anticipate needs, understand the risks, and problem solve across teams to deliver projects on-time and above expectations
- Provide clients with a white glove experience throughout production, making sure they feel heard and are fully informed while working with Spotify
- Efficiently multitask under pressure, while taking the unexpected in stride
- Meet and manage campaign deadlines in an effective, organized manner
- Find opportunities to refine and optimize workflows across teams as needed to guarantee a seamless client experience
- Serve as a key partner in optimizing and evolving branded event management workflows; develop a deep partnership with Spotify’s presale Strategy team and postsale Experiential team
Who You Are
- A min of 5+ years experience in a client-facing project management role, preferably with experience overseeing branded events
- Experience collaborating with high-caliber clients, translating their needs to creative teams and vice versa
- Production or production-adjacent experience, with deep knowledge of the ad production process across multiple mediums
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, artists, and stakeholders to enhance event collaborations and sponsorships
- Creative thinker and resourceful wordsmith
- Effective but diplomatic communication skills
- Hard-working multitasker with superb time management skills, and organized to a fault
- Proactive and savvy problem solver
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative culture, embracing change and effectively implementing feedback
- Extremely adaptable and solutions-oriented; ability to see projects through to the finish
- Great attention to detail and ability to handle multiple deadlines and events simultaneously
- Proficiency in Google Suite products and project management software (Asana preferred)
- Flexibility to travel as required for event coordination
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) required; additional fluency in Portuguese (spoken and written) is preferred

The United States base range for this position is $90,140 to $128,772, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
