Job Description

How You'll Fulfill Your Mission

The successful candidate will be a key team player within the growing and exciting IA function.

The Internal Audit Senior will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, establishing a culture of engagement while adding value.

In addition, you will contribute to a business climate and compliance culture that encourages integrity, respect, excellence, and other core Sprinklr values.

What you will be doing

  • Lead design and operating effectiveness of SOX Business Process (e.g., order to cash, purchase to payables, financial close and reporting, HR/payroll etc.) controls through walkthroughs, and execute operational effectiveness testing.

  • Update SOX documentation including process flowcharts, narratives, risk, and controls matrix and evaluate scoping of controls as new systems are developed and/or process changes.

  • Monitor the control environment and ensure that controls are operational and in-line with established policies and procedures, and controls methodology

  • Identify risks and gaps and advise management on leading practices for remediation to address observations raised

  • Update SOX deficiency dashboards tracking control issues, action owners and due dates

  • For IA projects assigned, participate in the risk assessment, execution, and reporting stages.

  • Devise data driven and risk-based conclusions and clearly organize and document findings based on testing results, along with root cause and recommendations.

  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to understand key processes and controls, document understanding in process flow diagrams and narratives.

  • Evaluate potential observations for root cause and assess materiality of the observation using guidance from Manager and audit methodology.

  • Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset in the audit function, including identifying and integrating best practices; Identify specific actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Internal Audits.

  • Lead IA / SOX issue tracking and resolution process.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with the external auditor on the SOX strategy and testing to optimize reliance opportunities.

  • Promote awareness of Internal Controls / SOX requirements and train control owners.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of audit/assessment experience with SOX control testing.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred

  • 2 years min Public accounting experience with an internationally recognized firm.

  • At least one professional designation (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) or a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting.

  • Audit experience with financial applications (NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, ADP, G-Suite, Xactly).

  • Operational internal audit experience.

  • Experience with data mining and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake).

  • Experience with GRC / audit tools (AuditBoard and zenGRC).

Compensation Range

$74,000 - $99,000 - $124,000

The base salary range for this role at minimum, midpoint and maximum is shown above. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired close to or at the maximum of the salary range. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay also depends on the relative experience, knowledge, skills to our internal peers in the role. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s discretionary bonus plan, commission plan and/or equity plan, depending on role.

US-based Sprinklr employees are eligible for a highly competitive benefits package as well, which demonstrates our commitment to our employees’ health, well-being, and financial protection.
