Steer is a new organization at Stanford University focused on guiding “what to build, where to innovate, and how to invest” for the energy transition. The mission of Steer is to overcome economic uncertainties of emerging energy technologies to unlock strategic investments and innovations. Using deep, tech-centric analysis, we seek to inform making better technology bets – as investors (public or private), corporations, entrepreneurs, academia, and policymakers.
