About the team
At its core, Stripe is a treasury company, and the Liquidity Management team is key to building the Global Payments and Treasury Network (GPTN). We collaborate closely with product, engineering, and finance teams to create innovative solutions that enhance Stripe’s financial capabilities. As a Treasury Finance Technical Specialist, you’ll work at the intersection of finance, technology, and product development, building advanced tools, automating treasury processes, and developing data-driven dashboards to drive efficiency, scalability, and growth.
What you’ll do
As a Treasury Finance Technical Specialist, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to enhance Stripe’s liquidity management, ensuring we have the right amount of money, in the right place and currency, at the right time. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and finance teams to build innovative tools, automate treasury processes, and develop data-driven dashboards, driving efficiency and scalability to support Stripe’s mission of increasing the GDP of the internet.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop tools to automate treasury workflows, optimize funds flows, and improve efficiency.
- Build and maintain advanced dashboards for real-time insights into liquidity, costs, and financial performance.
- Use Python or Ruby and SQL to analyze data, develop statistical models, and streamline treasury processes.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions to solve key treasury challenges.
- Develop and execute liquidity management strategies that enhance financial flexibility and resilience.
- Represent the Treasury-Finance team in interactions with Financial Systems and cross-functional partners.

Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, engineering or a related field with 4+ years of work experience in software development, data analysis, or treasury/finance roles.
- Strong analytical skills to assess quantitative and qualitative data and propose scalable solutions.
- Proficiency in Python or Ruby and SQL, with experience building tools, automating processes, or creating data visualizations.
- Problem-solving mindset with a passion for tackling complex challenges.
- Results-oriented, with a focus on delivering impact in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with product, engineering, and finance teams.
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with the payments industry and fintech landscape
- Experience with artificial iIntelligence applications in finance
- Familiarity with risk management
The annual US base salary range for this role is $132,000 - $198,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
