SuiteOp is a New York-based startup revolutionizing guest operations for short-term rentals, vacation rentals, and independent hotel operators. We've built a platform that cuts through the chaos of hospitality operations with smart automations that actually work. Our tech handles the complex stuff behind the scenes so teams can focus on what matters most: creating amazing guest experiences.
We've hit our stride with strong product-market fit and just closed our funding round. Now we're looking for a hungry, ambitious Founding Account Executive to help us bring SuiteOp to more customers who'll love us just as much as our current ones do!
As our first sales hire (employee #5), you'll join at the perfect moment to make a massive impact and help write our sales playbook from scratch. You’ll work directly with the founding team and the head of growth to close deals, refine our strategies, and lay the foundation for our future sales organization — with significant equity upside.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close + turn prospects into raving customers, becoming the expert voice of SuiteOp to prospective customers
- Generate your own pipeline through targeted prospecting - we're not staffing SDRs, so you'll need to be comfortable finding and engaging your own leads
- Develop and refine our sales playbook, messaging, and objection handling as you learn what resonates most
- Build relationships with property managers, hospitality operators and other decision makers in our target market
- Represent SuiteOp at industry conferences and events to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Partner with our Head of Growth to convert qualified leads into happy customers
- Provide crucial market feedback to our product team about customer pain points and feature requests
- Analyze sales performance to drive continuous improvements in conversion and close rates.
- Help establish our sales culture and standards as our first dedicated sales hire
Compensation:
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $175,000 - $200,000+
- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission

Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of successful B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling to SMBs or mid-market companies
- *Proven track record of breaking records * - we're looking for someone who doesn't just hit quota but smashes it
- History of over-achievement in previous roles - show us where you've gone above and beyond
- Strong prospecting skills and experience building your own pipeline from scratch
- Comfort with representing the company at industry events and turning conversations into opportunities
- Excellent communication skills - you can explain complex solutions in simple, compelling ways
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive with minimal direction
- Experience using modern sales tools (CRM, email automation, etc.)
- Comfort with the ambiguity and rapid changes of an early-stage startup

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days:
- Build and execute a prospecting strategy that delivers a strong, qualified pipeline.
- Close your first 10 deals and establish a repeatable process for future success
- Develop deep product mastery and confidently demo to any prospect
- Attend at least one key industry event and bring back actionable connections
- Help refine our ICP and sharpen targeting based on real-world feedback.
- Create initial sales collateral and documentation of what's working
