TechStars Summer Internship: 10-13 weeks from June through August 2024

Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week

Location: Hybrid, New York City

Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour

Internship Summary

Techstars, the largest pre-seed investor in the world, is seeking a New York City-based 2024 summer intern to join the Capital Formation team Techstars’ internship program provides students the unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience working in venture capital as part of the Capital Formation team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate that is looking to gain firsthand experience in venture capital, capital formation, and investor relations. Interns will be assigned significant tasks and projects closely aligned with Techstars’ strategic goals, with a primary focus on on capital formation and investor relations responsibilities including, but not limited to: Capital formation and fundraising support, investor relations support, meeting preparations and follow-ups, market research, investor reporting, database updating and documentation, event planning, etc. The intern will also benefit from direct guidance and support from their manager and fellow team members.

Qualifications and Skills

• Undergraduate junior or senior standing, or graduate student in related field of study
• Strong academic performance
• Passion for startups, technology, and innovation
• Bias for action, comfort with ambiguity and data-driven decision making approach
• Strong personnel, project management, and exceptional communication skills
• Attention to detail and concern for quantitative accuracy
• Fluency in English language
• Experience with Google Suite and Salesforce is not a requirement, but a plus!
