About The RoleOur global advertisers rely on our data to drive future investment decisions on the Uber Advertising platform. In this role as a Data Operations & Solutions Lead within our Data Solutions and Capabilities (DS&C) team, you will lead the design and implementation of dashboard and automated reporting to enable sales intelligence, real-time campaign monitoring and workflow automation across all ad products that we are offering globally. Your work will enable our ad sales, sales operations, revenue operations teams, as well as our advertiser clients, via the data warehousing, and self-service data products (dashboard and automations). You will define how we build world-class business intelligence and analytics data products that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will work cross functionally with product, engineering and data / applied science teams. What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data / applied scientists to understand Uber Advertising’s source of truth data streams
  • Design, develop and own the sales intelligence dashboard suite, real-time campaign monitoring dashboard suite and workflow automations
  • Work as the owner and single point of contact in DS&C to provide dedicated support to our Ad Sales, Sales Operations, and Revenue Operations teams
  • Build and own the roadmap to collaborate with Sales Operations and Revenue Operations teams to develop end-to-end data solutions and products
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to build Salesforce data integrations and reporting
  • Build and implement scripts in Python to automate reporting / operation workflows in a scalable manner, to reduce manual touches and improve operational efficiency
  • Program manage our external contractors to ensure high quality project implementation
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years work experience in business intelligence, analytics or data science at a data-driven, tech savvy company
  • Advanced level of SQL and ETL skills; experience in optimizing complex SQL queries and ETL jobs
  • Demonstrated ability in data engineering, data pipeline development and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
  • Demonstrated expereince with dashboarding tool (Looker, Tableau)
  • Experience working with Python
  • Proven experience with Salesforce reporting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Sciences, or related field
  • Deep understanding of Google Ad Manager and Criteo
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $142,000 per year - $158,000 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $158,000 per year - $175,500 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $158,000 per year - $175,500 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
