About The RoleThis role will focus on driving strategic initiatives to continuously optimize the state of operations across all areas of the employee life cycle. In addition, this role also supports additional areas of People Operations including but not limited to compliance, technical projects, and vendor management. What You''ll Do
  • Oversee and manage vendor relationships and BPOs (business process outsourcing) to ensure optimal delivery and performance of expected vendor services
  • Analyze a variety of operational metrics to redefine and track key performance indicators, build proactive action plans to continuously improve operational performance and enhance business outcomes with both vendors and internal teams
  • Lead vendor meetings and address day-to-day operational issues as needed
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives: map, design and implement lean processes to reduce friction and cycle times
  • Conduct business analyses to make recommendations about future state; present findings to senior management
  • Drive critical initiatives aiming at optimizing the state of People Operations across all areas of the employee life cycle.
  • Support additional areas of People Operations including but not limited to compliance, global programs, and shared services.
Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional project or program management experience, specifically aligned with leading strategic initiatives within an organization
  • BS/BA degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong and successful working relationship with vendors, negotiating contracts as needed, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Ability to apply change management principles while driving initiatives and projects by identifying partner needs such as communication, training, and other forms of support to achieve the desired end state
  • Ability to identify strategic business opportunities, clearly and succinctly communicate data-driven recommendations to senior management
  • Experience with managing and overseeing BPO operations
  • Ability to deal with imperfect data and to manage multiple interconnected datasets with simple formulas: V-Lookups, Importranges, IF statements, pivots.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets and PowerPoint
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $133,000 per year - $147,500 per year.For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $133,000 per year - $147,500 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $148,000 per year - $164,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $148,000 per year - $164,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber''s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
