Strategic Operations Lead, Delivery Integrations
Uber
About the Role
Uber Eats is transforming how people discover and access food, groceries, and everyday essentials. Beyond merchant technology platforms, we also partner with leading third-party distribution platforms to expand our consumer reach and unlock new growth opportunities across the ecosystem.
We’re looking for a strong team member to own operations of a new and growing portfolio of 3P distribution partnerships, starting with Instacart. These partnerships are critical to our long-term growth strategy and require strong analytical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and senior-level communication.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Product, Ops, Finance, Marketing, and Business Development to track partnership performance, identify opportunities and risks, and drive operational and strategic initiatives from insight to execution. You’ll serve as the day-to-day owner of partnership health, while identifying insights that help shape the future of Uber Eats’ growth strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Own Partnership Performance & Analytics: Analyze performance across 3P distribution partnerships to identify growth opportunities, operational gaps, and risks; translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Operational Problem Solving: Partner cross-functionally to design and implement operational solutions that improve partnership health, scalability, and business outcomes.
- Senior Leadership Communication: Own executive-level reporting and narratives on partnership health, performance trends, and strategic priorities; prepare materials for senior leadership forums.
- External Partner Collaboration: Engage directly with external partners as needed, working closely with Business Development to drive the right commercial and strategic outcomes.
- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Own new strategic initiatives from 0-to-1—scoping opportunities, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution through launch and implementation.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, and/or management consulting
- Strong business acumen and financial literacy - comfortable leading strategic planning, and modeling tradeoffs/ROI.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving teams such as Product, Ops, Finance, and Business Development
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplaces, restaurant tech companies, or bizops / strategy teams at B2B software companies
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong ownership mindset.
- Expertise in SQL
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
