About the Role
Join a high-impact global team at the center of one of Uber’s most dynamic and strategic businesses. This is a critical role responsible for shaping the future of reliability and timeliness on Delivery globally. You will serve as a strategic thought partner for global marketplace strategy and lead select global initiatives to accelerate adoption of key products. The right candidate will have strong problem solving and data analysis skills, along with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Define critical metrics and develop dashboards to track business performance; analyze sophisticated data, build models, analyze competitor research, and aggregate insights to drive key business decisions; report findings to senior leadership to define long-term strategy and decision-making
- Collaborate and work cross-functionally with regional operations teams as well as Product, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc. to ensure insights inform broader critical initiatives
- Lead special projects to solve emerging global challenges—owning everything from problem structuring and data analysis to strategy development, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional implementation.
- Connect market insights across regions to spot patterns, share learnings, and help local teams adopt and scale solutions more effectively.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or analytics within high-growth or matrixed environments.
- Bachelor's Degree
- SQL experience
- Strong analytical skills and comfortability working with data to discover and surface exec-ready insights
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to a sophisticated audience
- Strong collaboration and partner management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with territory and cross-functional teams
- Strong business judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions
- Proven ability to drive ambiguous, cross-functional projects from design through regional implementation
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
