This role is about more than just maintaining relationships—it’s about driving growth in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. You will manage a high-value portfolio of Mandarin-speaking SMB and Mid-Market restaurants, helping them navigate the complexity of the Uber Eats platform. • Identify growth opportunities through product adoption and location expansion, and move with urgency to upsell marketing products like ads and promotions.
  • Unblock partners by collaborating across operations and sales to resolve messy issues and technical friction points quickly.
  • Lead business reviews by tracking merchant KPIs and OKRs, turning complex data into clear, actionable stories that help partners see the value of staying and growing with Uber.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure 100% account retention, acting with grit to solve problems before they escalate.
  • Standardize excellence by building processes and best practices within your territory that improve the merchant experience at scale.
  • Act as an ambassador for Uber Eats, ensuring our Mandarin-speaking community understands and leverages our mission and product to its fullest.

Basic Qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or operations.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a track record of hitting quarterly targets and managing multiple competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cultural Intelligence: Experience working with Mandarin-speaking business owners and an understanding of the unique market dynamics within this community.
  • Data Storytelling: Proficiency in taking raw commercial data and making it digestible through charts, graphs, and visuals to influence partner decisions.
  • Adaptability: A self-starter attitude with the ability to stay steady and productive in a high-ambiguity, autonomous environment.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to clearly frame a value proposition, navigate tough objections, and eliminate barriers to gain commitment.
  • Strategic Hustle: Willingness to get in the weeds with high-value partners while keeping a high-level view of long-term revenue and retention goals.
