About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and customer-obsessed Product Marketing Manager I to support driver experience and earnings. In this role, you’ll lead go-to-market strategy and lifecycle engagement for products that help drivers better understand, grow, and maximize their earnings on Uber.

You will support key initiatives across earning models, metrics, and tipping—bringing new product experiences to market while helping earners build confidence, transparency, and trust in how they earn. This role will shape how drivers discover and adopt tools that improve their experience and long-term success on the platform.

This is a highly cross-functional global role at the intersection of Product, Operations, CRM, Research, Regional Teams, Data Science, and Customer Support. You’ll translate complex product systems and incentive mechanics into clear, motivating value propositions and scalable engagement strategies that drive adoption, retention, and satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Cross-functional Leadership. Lead alignment across Product, Operations, CRM, Regional teams, Data Science, and Support to improve how drivers discover, understand, and engage with earnings features.
  • Messaging & Positioning. Develop compelling messaging frameworks and customer narratives for earning models, metrics, and tipping products. Simplify complex earning systems, feature functionality, and behavioral incentives into clear, actionable value propositions that resonate with drivers across different lifecycle stages and market contexts.
  • Go-to-Market Excellence. Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new product launches, feature rollouts, and evergreen engagement initiatives. Build scalable education and adoption programs that increase awareness, product understanding, feature usage, and long-term engagement.
  • Driver Engagement & Lifecycle Strategy. Partner closely with CRM and lifecycle marketing teams to create targeted engagement strategies that help drivers understand earning opportunities, improve performance visibility, and maximize product value over time. Identify moments where communication can reduce confusion, increase trust, and drive habit formation.
  • Global Leadership. Partner with regional operations and commercial teams to tailor messaging, campaigns, and education strategies for local market needs while maintaining global consistency. Build strong feedback loops to identify adoption barriers, market nuances, and opportunities to improve the earner experience.
  • Research & Insights. Collaborate with Research and Data Science teams to define the learning agenda. Use qualitative and quantitative insights—including adoption metrics, engagement trends, tipping behavior, subscription retention, and driver sentiment—to refine positioning, improve user experience, and influence product strategy.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of marketing experience delivering highly successful engagement and acquisition strategies with 2+ years specifically in product marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in B2C product marketing, growth, subscriptions or fintech
  • Can articulate the essence of complex products and the value they create. Can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan.
  • The willingness and know-how to deeply understand the market, customers and competition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting and sharing work with executive leadership.
  • Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions.
  • Strong analytical skills - uses data to create insightful stories, inform strategies and guide decision making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a large number of teams across multiple countries, time-zones, backgrounds and functions to push projects to completion.
  • A hard-working, detailed, organized, and motivated self-starter, who enjoys challenges and is not deterred by complicated/complex situations.
