About the Role
As a Market Intelligence Associate, you will be at the center of Uber’s most important strategic discussions, driving planning, execution, and coordination of high-impact initiatives for your territories Delivery business, part of Uber’s highest-priority region globally.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the short- and long-term direction of the business, ensuring seamless execution of strategic projects, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, analytical horsepower, and the ability to bring clarity and structure to complex, cross-functional challenges. This role requires local expertise and consideration, and you will act as the connective tissue between your market and the business.

What the Candidate Will Do
Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead and support annual planning, quarterly reviews, and strategy refreshes. Drive alignment across leadership on goals, priorities, and trade-offs.
Competitive Intelligence: Understand the local landscape and identify competitive challenges and opportunities.
Program & Project Management: Own the coordination and delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives. Structure workstreams, monitor progress, escalate risks, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
Governance & Operating Cadence: Design and manage governance mechanisms (scorecards, tracking, reporting frameworks) to ensure transparency, accountability, and execution against strategic objectives.
Problem-Solving & Insights: Synthesize data and insights into clear narratives that influence leadership decisions. Connect the dots across functions to recommend actionable solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the connective tissue across Operations, Finance, Marketing, and local Commercial Teams. Bring diverse teams together around shared objectives and deliver outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in consulting, strategy, business intelligence, project/program management, or related fields.
Analytical & Structured Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills; able to move from broad questions to structured frameworks and actionable outputs.
Planning & Organization: Proven ability to plan multi-faceted projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, deliverables, with track record of working with cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious outcomes.
Adaptability: Comfort navigating ambiguity and prioritizing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Self-Starter: Proactive and resourceful, with a bias toward action and ownership.
Experience working in SQL
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in advanced tooling, like Python, etc.
Experience in technology, marketplace businesses, or fast-scaling environments.
Familiarity with governance models, OKR frameworks, or program management best practices.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
