Rate of Pay: $131,000 to $160,000 per Year

What you’ll do
- Support the establishment and maintenance of an effective safety program for AV fleet operators and partners.
- Support the development and execution of a safety program for AV fleet operations.
- Assure that the infrastructure, operations, and processes comply with safety-related regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal safety standards.
- Support internal stakeholders and external partners on SMS best practices.
- Execute and support operational safety programs specific to vehicle operator use.
- Manage safety programs from inception to operation while meeting strategic objectives.
- Engage AV partners on Safety Assurance and Risk Management activities.
- May telecommute.
Basic Qualifications
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering (Any), or related field, and three years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. OR employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Position requires:
- Supporting the implementation and management of safety management programs in a transportation sector;
- Safety operations;
- Risk assessments and mitigations;
- Incident response;
- Project management;
- Supporting or executing safety programs related to operational activities in the ride-hail / transportation industry;
- SMS frameworks;
- Performing data analysis and statistical analysis of operational safety data to generate safety performance indicators.
