About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Sr Strategic Operations Associate to join the Earner Marketplace & Matching team within Uber's US & Canada Mobility business.
The Earner Marketplace & Matching team tackles some of Uber's most interesting marketplace optimization challenges. We shape the earner side of the marketplace through driver pricing, incentives, positioning, matching, and other marketplace levers—balancing reliability and efficiency today while supporting a healthy driver experience and sustainable supply over the long term.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of marketplace strategy, analytics, and technology. Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations, you will help launch and optimize sophisticated pricing and matching capabilities, investigate complex marketplace dynamics, and identify opportunities to improve how the marketplace works for drivers, riders, and Uber.
This is a highly analytical role in a complex, interconnected marketplace where changes in one area can have meaningful effects elsewhere. You will dig into large datasets, develop hypotheses, evaluate experiments and tradeoffs, and turn your findings into recommendations that shape real business and technology decisions. The ideal candidate enjoys getting deep into difficult problems, connecting the dots across systems, and working with others to turn insights into impact.

Bring a strong business and Operations perspective to technical problems, help teams navigate tradeoffs, and drive initiatives from analysis through execution.
