About the role and team

Uber Ads seeks an experienced product leader to own the Advertiser Experience for a rapidly growing advertising platform. This leader will be responsible for how advertisers engage with the platform — from creating and managing campaigns through understanding performance, measurement and attribution.

This is a significant build and scale opportunity. The platform is still early in its evolution, creating substantial white space for a leader who can bring best practices from a sophisticated performance advertising ecosystem while determining what needs to be built specifically for our business. The role encompasses both Enterprise and SMB Ads Managers.

The role will have meaningful business impact: improving the advertiser experience and accelerating advertiser demand directly influences the growth and revenue trajectory of the ads business.

What you’ll do

  • Own the Strategy: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for advertiser demand and advertiser experience.
  • High Quality Execution: Build state of the art advertiser tooling. The high order focus on ENT is configurability & reporting, vs SMBs will focus on ease of use.
  • Lead the Advertiser Journey: Own the end-to-end experience across campaign creation, self-service tooling, reporting, measurement, and attribution.
  • Drive Advertiser Performance: Build products that make it easier for advertisers to launch campaigns, understand results, and maximize ROI.
  • Advance Campaign Optimization: Develop and mature campaign-level optimization capabilities as the platform scales.
  • Shape What We Build: Identify critical product gaps and determine where to build differentiated capabilities versus leverage proven industry approaches.
  • Bring Best-in-Class Expertise: Apply learnings from scaled performance advertising platforms while adapting them to Uber’s evolving Ads business.
  • Lead Cross-Functionally: Partner across Engineering, Data Science, Design, Sales, and business teams to accelerate advertiser adoption and demand.
  • Build & Lead the Team: Develop a high-performing Product team while establishing the vision and operating model for the function.
  • Drive Business Impact: Grow advertiser demand, performance, and revenue through a more sophisticated and effective advertiser platform.

  • Demonstrated experience building products for performance advertisers, with a strong understanding of how advertisers launch, measure, and optimize campaigns against measurable business outcomes.
