The Role:

The Strategic Account Manager at Recorded Future is a dynamic, highly motivated and customer-obsessed individual focused on nurturing and expanding relationships and revenue within existing Fortune 250 accounts. Your mission will involve working closely with existing clients to understand their needs and delivering value through our industry-leading solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction, growth, and retention. As a senior member of the sales team the Strategic Account Manager acts as a mentor to other sales reps, sharing expertise and exemplifying best practices in pipeline creation, progression, and closure.

What Youll Do As Strategic Account Manager:

  • Act as the primary liaison for top customers at Recorded Future, building key relationships, including with executives, for strategic insights and deal advancement.
  • Drive growth in strategic accounts, managing the sales cycle from territory planning to closure.
  • Develop strong customer relationships, addressing needs and showcasing solution value, with a focus on decision-maker access.
  • Collaborate with appropriate internal resources and channel partners to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Engage in ongoing discovery to align solutions with evolving client requirements.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring progress of multiple deals and providing accurate forecasts.

What Youll Bring as Strategic Account Manager:

  • Strategic Account Expertise: 5+ years experience managing Fortune 250 accounts.
  • Operational and Sales Acumen: Mastery in territory management and strategy execution, building impactful relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Communication and Continuous Discovery: Skilled in value selling and active listening, with a focus on insightful questioning and both internal and external communication efficacy. A mentor in discovery methods.
  • Strategic Execution and Orchestration: Skilled in accessing decision makers, building champions, and leveraging advanced sales methodologies like MEDDIC and Value-Based Selling, while navigating complex sales environments.
  • Negotiation and Closing Expertise: Proficient in negotiation and deal positioning, with a keen focus on deal control, clear expectations, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the cybersecurity sector, including competitor and market trend knowledge.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$170,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by state, work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K.
