Senior Manager, Delivery

Applause seeks a dynamic, customer-focused leader to support a portfolio of data collection and AI projects with one of our most strategic customers. This person will be a player/coach who owns the end-to-end project delivery of all strategic projects on the account, personally manages projects, and directly leads a group of project managers. The role will provide consulting and cross-functional support, working directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success across multiple delivery sites and projects. This person will have hands-on experience running multiple high-visibility projects, prioritizing client demand, and developing best-in-class delivery practices. This person should be adept at hard analytical and soft people skills, and able to adapt to rapidly changing business needs. Strengths in strategy development, program management, project management, and executive communication are keys to success in this role. Additionally, this role will require coaching, mentoring, and managing a team of project managers.

This individual must have the passion and energy to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment to succeed in this role. They must have the maturity, confidence, experience with customers, and the passion, energy, and leadership skills to develop others. They will enjoy helping others achieve success and helping them grow in their project management and professional abilities.


  • Own and lead multiple, strategic customer engagements delivering high-quality outcomes against customer targets
  • Develop strong customer relationships that enable Applause to become a trusted adviser for our customers’ executives and stakeholders
  • Manage multiple project plans and delivery schedules, leading project leads to successfully meeting targets
  • Leverage Quality and Performance reporting to identify projection execution gaps
  • Gather testing requirements from the customer and translate them into actionable delivery plans
  • Ensure customer and project success by managing the completion of deliverables, schedules, customer expectations, and meeting milestones
  • Successfully manage a team of project managers.
  • Coach project managers in all aspects of their job.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to track team performance and identify coaching opportunities
  • Lead internal and external business reviews providing actionable feedback and insights
  • Work cross-functionally with the leadership team to implement and monitor the impact of strategic initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to manage individual and engagement-wide scope of work
  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with solid communication and presentation skills
  • Competent with advanced project management principles
  • Ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments with rapidly changing demands
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver challenging messaging


  • At least 3 years of experience in project management within the AI Sector
  • Track record of successfully delivering AI Projects at scale
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree from a 4-year University
  • 4+ years of leadership experience as an SME on global or strategic engagements
  • 4+ years of leadership experience with direct reports preferred

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000
